Our next meeting is at Ryedale Folk Museum in Hutton le Hole from 7pm to 8.30pm. This is an informal social event.
The Ryedale ArtWorks Directory 2012 will be available for you to take away. There’s nothing like the fresh smell of print!
The volunteer production team were Andy Dalton, Janet Hayton and Sue Gough, with help from Liz Bailey Gill Dearman and Catriona Stewart. Ian Mitchell was commissioned to produce the booklet design, building on
the work he did for us last year.
The next step is to make it work for us !
In addition to copies for your contacts we can select appropriate
distribution points eg. centres for culture, shops, hotels, libraries,
tourist offices, events, cafes, community buildings etc. We will have a
list of private and public galleries for direct mailing to make sure
they are covered.
This network is really effective and saves us all time and distribution
costs.

At 7.30pm, Jos Holmes and Yvette Turnbull of Ryedale District Council
will discuss building an economic strategy that includes the creative
sector. This is a chance to feedback your experience of being an artist
or running a gallery in the region.
