- To find opportunities to promote Ryedale ArtWorks as a brand beyond the sub-region.

Members Meetings and Procedures
General communications
RAW is a membership led organisation and active participation is a key driver of all future plans and objectives.
The preferred method of communication between members and committees will be via email. Members without email addresses should request information in another format.
The RAW website will have information of forthcoming meetings, events and discussions.
Please consider volunteering, we need fresh ideas and different viewpoints to keep the organisation current and vibrant. It is also an effective way to gain new contacts and experience.
ArtWorks Meetings
These are held throughout Ryedale at a variety of venues. Full members are requested to attend at least 2 meetings per year.
Members are encouraged to host these meetings and suggest topics of interest.
The Committee will try to give at least 14 days notice by email.
The volunteers on the committee and sub-groups work on your behalf to deliver RAW’s objectives.
Making decisions
The constitution guides most operational matters of Ryedale ArtWorks, however, if any member would like to raise an issue or review a decision made by the committee, they are welcome to contact us in writing.
To change a decision a quorum of 5 full members or 1/10th of the full membership is required, whichever is the greater.
Committee members must stand down after two years or seek nominations to rejoin.
The management committee has up to 8 places in addition to the 4 officers and it is hoped members will consider joining the committee for a year or two at some point.
Annual General Meeting
An AGM is held to review the work of RAW, to elect committee members, to receive the committee reports, adopt the financial statement for the preceding year, and transact such other business as may arise.
All full members are entitled to attend and vote on matters arising.
